Next class September 14, 2026 class at Kingsford High School. Registration available. |
Segment 2 consists of three two-hour classes. The cost of the class is $100.
A Segment 2 contract must be filled out and returned to insure your place in the class, as there is a class size limit. You must include your student's driver license number on the contract.
Segment 2 classes can be taken only after a minimum of 3 months have passed since receiving your Level 1 License and after 30 hours (2 nighttime) of the 50 hours of driving time with a parent have been completed.
On the level one license look for the issue date (ISS). It is listed after ISS on the license

Level 1 License received on 6/13/2026 or earlier to be eligible.

Print and Sign Contract. Fill out the contract completely (including your child's driver's license number which is on their level one license). ****Student must have held the level one license for 3 months.**** Then mail the Contract and Deposit to DADS. (Student must attend all three classes)
Student must bring the following items to the first day of class:
1) level one license
2)driving log with 30 hours total (including 2 hours at night)
3) pen
Classes will be held at Kingsford High School, classroom 102 (enter by the high school office and follow the signs).
Classes are on the following dates:
9/14/26 (3:45-5:45), 9/15/26 (3:45-5:45), 9/16/26 (3:45-5:45)
